Marlie's North Sydney 2/6 Elizabeth Plaza, Miller St, North Sydney NSW 2060 Click here for the menu If you've been around Elizabeth Plaza at lunchtime, you're sure to have experience the deliciously rich and spicy aromas from this Asian American BBQ joint. Vegans rejoice, because their Ruby Lou dish is a plant based dream packed with smoky maple soy tofu, cucumber, kimchi, crispy nori and toasted sesame. Perfect served up with their Hawker Salad Bowl or Rice Super Bowl. All dishes come with pickled carrot, onions, radish, crispy shallots and coriander for even more of a flavour punch!

Neighbourhood fave Charlie and Franks has a menu packed with vegan deliciousness! Choose from sweet treats such as a Coconut Chia Bowl brimming with coconut soaked chia, mango, strawberries and raspberries, raspberry coulis and shaved coconut and savoury flavour combos like the legendary Vegan Bowl, made up of soy braised eggplant, avocado, roasted sweet potato, slaw, peanut dressing, pepitas and sesame seeds. YUM. There's also a

housemade vegan burger and the falafel is plant based too. Result!


Laurel Leaf Bistro McMahons Point Union St, McMahons Point Instagram @laurel_leaf_bistro This cute cafe is tucked on Union Street and serves up a veritable feast of vegan goodies, such as these beautiful vegan salads of truffle infused cous cous and baked beetroot (Add a mushroom steak for added yum). Owner Anna is passionate about offering plant based options. She makes her own vegan Feta using raw cashews, an essential ingredient in her vegan moussaka and spanakopita, and bakes up a storm when it comes to plant powered cakes, pastries and biscuits.



The Botanist Kirribilli

17 Willoughby St, Kirribilli NSW 2061 Click here for menu This Kirribilli fave is open from lunch to late. While it's not a vegan restaurant, chef Scotty Mills includes a number of inventive plant powered choices and the kitchen is very open to accommodating guests' dietary requirements. Favourite dishes include twice-cooked potato with lentil salsa, shaved zucchini and rocket (because who doesn't love potato right?!) The cocktail menu also includes the use of aqua faba (chickpea liquid) in place of traditional egg white. Cheers to that!

Green Sprouts Neutral Bay Shop 13/166-174 Military Rd, Neutral Bay NSW 2089 Click here for menu Enjoy delicious Asian dishes in this entirely plant-based restaurant. The menu includes vegan versions of the classics, including fully plant powered Peking Duck pancakes and dim sim, lemon 'chicken', sweet and sour 'pork' and much more. Five star reviews come from vegans and non-vegans alike so it's the perfect place for the whole family to enjoy. Reservations are suggested and bookings are available on their website. Another all vegan Chinese pick, famous

for its in-house bao brand Love Buns – coming in a variety of creative flavours from charcoal sesame to butter chicken. The dumplings are especially good, and they offer an especially large selection of vegan bites.





Saravanaa Bhavan North Sydney 237 Miller St, North Sydney NSW 2060 Click here for the menu The legendary Saravanaa Bhavan is part of a global chain of South Indian vegetarian restaurants that have been running for over 40 years. Most dishes on the menu are vegan and local veggie lovers rave about the dosa (a lentil pancake packed with potato curry and other goodies) and the weekday curry special. Thali platters, pictured, are also available, giving a you the chance to taste a whole range of delicious dishes.
