Take the stress out of Christmas day by dining out. Yes, that means no more cooking or washing up! Whether you want to dine on fresh Aussie seafood or opt for a more traditional Christmas meal, there’s something for everyone on this list.

Kirribilli Club, Lavender Bay

  • $210 per adult, $70 per child

  • Enjoy a delicious, three-course set lunch while overlooking Sydney Harbour. Menu highlights include lobster with lemon butter, saffron rice and seasonal vegetables and Christmas pudding served with Madagascan vanilla bean custard and berry compote. The Kirribilli Club will also be offering a very special childrens’ menu featuring lasagne, ice cream and a gift from Santa!

Bathers Pavillion, Mosman

  • Breakfast or lunch between $95-320 per adult, $50-110 per child

  • The Bavers Pavillion will be opening their Restaurant, Bistro and Terrace for Christmas lunch bookings. They’re offering set breakfast and lunch menus across various sittings. Each menu is different, but sample highlights include glazed ham with spiced cherries, preserved lemon, red cabbage and pressed potato and seared swordfish with white funghi, green peppercorn and gordal olives. Christmas at the Bathers is definitely family friendly – your kids will dine on festive faves such as such as prawns, roast turkey and Christmas pudding.

Ormeggio at The Spit, Mosman

  • $350 per adult, $150 per child

  • Gather your family and enjoy a decadent, four course meal at Ormeggio. Their specially curated menu will be confirmed three weeks in advance, but expect it to look like a yuletide version of their current menu – which includes Yellowfin tuna crudo, Western Australian Fremantle Octopus cooked over charcoal and grilled Hiramasa Kingfish served with green apple, sundried tomato and mixed herbs.

Ripples Chowder Bay, Mosman

  • $275 per adult, $95 per child

  • Take your Christmas lunch to another level at Ripples. Their sample offerings include cured salmon with miso wasabi and avocado mousse, pork neck with braised cabbage, apple & red wine jus, and a delicious dark chocolate mousse served with coconut crumb, cherries & mango sorbet. Why not pair your meal with some bubbles? Ripples have a top-notch wine list and an excellent selection of tasty cocktails.

Kirribilli Hotel, Kirribilli

  • $125 per adult, $113 per senior, $65 per child

  • Is there anything more Aussie than a pub Christmas? The Kirribilli Hotel will be offering fresh seafood as well as Christmas staples such as roast turkey, beef sirloin and pineapple baked leg ham. Their dessert menu includes pavlova (of course!), Christmas pudding, and fruit mince pies.
